A Study on Qualification Curriculum Satisfaction and Career Exploration Activities of Pre-service Arts and Culture Education Instructors

    Abstract

    This study used a concurrent mixed method design composed of quantitative and qualitative research to explore diverse aspects related to satisfaction with the qualification courses for pre-service arts and culture education instructors and understand the effectiveness of their career exploration activities. The followings are the results of pre- and post-tests and deep interviews. First, according to the quantitative data analysis, there was a statistically significant difference in satisfaction with arts and culture education classes and career preparation behaviors while there was no significant difference in commitment to a career choice and career decision-making self-efficacy. Second, Included diverse aspects such as their satisfaction with classes for qualification courses performed together with career exploration, and career exploration activities in the process of using worksheets and online career test.
